FAQ
Turmeric is widely used for its anti-inflammatory properties contained in curcumin, one of the main extracts present in the root. However, many people are unaware that turmeric has 15 other nutrients that bring additional benefits to our body, it can be used to improve liver, gallbladder, and digestive health. It helps relieve pain in the joints and has a dual antiviral and antibacterial function.
The percentage of curcumin varies by species. For example, the percentage of curcumin in aromatic turmeric, commonly used in cosmetics, is reduced compared to the percentage present in Curcuma longa, from which we produce our Haldi pasta. The percentage variation from 2.5 to 5% is observed according to the type of crop, the area, and the processing method.
The combination of our Haldi paste and the intake of drugs does not cause side effects. However, anyone on prescription should consult their doctor before taking turmeric supplements. The anticoagulant effects resulting from the consumption of turmeric could lead to an alteration of the values present in the blood of a patient with cardiovascular problems. Finally, being an organic and natural product, its consumption generates more benefits than drawbacks.
